PS Plus Officially Adds 4 More Games for September 2026

The PlayStation Plus content catalog received WWE 2K26 and three other titles earlier today, September 15. The four arrivals officially mark the second batch of PS Plus library additions for September 2026, with two more waves set to follow before October arrives.

The self-explanatorily named Date Everything was the first title to join PS Plus this month, arriving on September 9. That same day, Sony announced the remaining monthly Extra- and Premium-tier catalog additions, the first of which have now formally gone live.

Of the four September 15 additions, RuneScape: Dragonwilds is an obvious standout on account of being a day-one title. The survival RPG has been in early access since April 2025, but it spent the entirety of that period as a PC exclusive and is only now debuting on consoles alongside its 1.0 release. It joins Sony's subscription service alongside WWE 2K26, with both of them available across the Extra and Premium tiers of PlayStation Plus.

Premium subscribers receive the two older games in the mid-September 2026 batch. The older of the two is the 2004 JRPG Mega Man X: Command Mission, which puts a tactical RPG twist on Capcom's iconic action platformer series. It arrives alongside Metro Redux, a 2014 two-pack combining the remake of Metro 2033 and a remaster of Metro: Last Light.

PS Plus September 2026 Releases Are Only Halfway Done

The third wave of PS Plus Extra and Premium games is scheduled for September 22, when Ball x Pit and Slitterhead are set to enter Sony's ever-revolving catalog. That tandem will be followed by Dungeons of Hinterberg, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, all of which are due to debut on September 29.

September is thus on course to expand Sony's subscription offerings with two classics and eight multi-tier titles, matching the PS Plus August 2026 lineup in volume. Looking ahead, the next catalog update is expected to be formally announced on September 30, when Sony should reveal the monthly Essential games for October 2026, based on its usual cadence. The complimentary games typically become claimable on the first Tuesday of each month, which in this instance falls on October 6.
