Ahead of the game’s launch this Friday, Nintendo have released a seven minute long trailer for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. The new trailer covers some gameplay and combines some of the previous trailers, and is definitely worth checking out if you are excited for the title’s release this week.

Unfortunately for now, the trailer is only available in Japanese, but if an English version pops up we will update this article. Last month saw a more in-depth look at the game during a Nintendo Direct livestream, you can read all about that here. For those wanting to know a little bit more detail on the game, here’s some information from Nintendo: “Five years after the Heroic Games, the Dagdan Empire faces its end at the hands of the revived demon god, Balor. Four Heroes who played a significant role in the Heroic Games have vanished. To confront the situation, the progenitor god Sothis charges one soul with saving the world from its end. That soul is you.

The Heroic Games are a series of matches held in tribute to Dagda, the Empire’s first and founding king. Solel, the current ruler of the Dagdan Empire, will grant one wish to the ultimate winner. Achieving victory is no easy task, so preparation is key.

Your story begins at the end of the world at the hands of the demon god. Those who join you in the future will strengthen the might of your assembled forces. Which path will you walk to save the world?”

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will be the first game in the series that will be released on Nintendo Switch 2, and it is launching this Friday, September 17th.
