It’s kind of a wild time being an Iron Man fan as not only earlier this week did footage surface of a canceled Iron Man game by Avalanche Software, but so has another this time in development at EA Motive.
Circulating on ResetEra and spotted by Eurogamer, EA has since addressed the situation, stating “that didn’t go as planned” on social media. Unfortunately, while the build shown in the two-and-half-minute clip was allegedly from an August test build, it seems EA is not ready to show anything.
To be clear, it’s been well-documented that EA was in partnership with Marvel since 2023 and since last year had three projects in the pipeline. One such project that isn’t, though, is Black Panther, which was canceled and the studio shuttered.
