Today, Dynamis One and NC announced the total tally of stats and other figures from Astrae Oratio’s Closed Beta Test run earlier in the month. This beta offered players an early glimpse into three main story chapters and two mini stories; combat quests with various difficulty levels; the “Score Trial” boss challenge, where players compete for high scores; and “Free Time” mode, which lets players interact with the game’s characters outside of the main story.

Clocking in nearly 80,000 hours of playtime across all playtesters, the companies say that player feedback was “overwhelmingly positive” and offered these stats:

• 93% of respondents said they intend to play Astrae Oratio after launch
• 86.7% of respondents reported a positive first impression of the game
• More than 80% of respondents praised the game’s story and characters

As for overall engagement:

• Players logged nearly 80,000 hours of total play time
• Combat scenarios were attempted more than 1.13 million times
• The “Score Trial” boss challenge was cleared nearly 20,0000 times

• Eight out of ten players returned and played on a second consecutive day

The publisher plans to utilise gameplay data and player feedback collected during the CBT to support further development and prepare for Astrae Oratio’s launch on iOS and Android devices, with a PC release to follow, sometime in 2027.
